• Joan Welsh's campaign kick-off is Thursday, July 10^th 5:30-7:30 in Camden at Sarah Rheault's house, 60 Howe Hill Road. Howe Hill Rd is off Molyneaux Road between Rte 105 (Washington Street) and Hosmer Pond/Barnestown Rd in Camden. Or take Melvin Heights Road off Mechanic Street, go left at fork at top of hill and go approx half a mile to end and at the stop sign, turn left and then right up the hill (straight ahead) -- see the campaign sign on left. Park well off the road or pull into the driveway to park.

• KCDC Corresponding Secretary and Fund Raising Chair found! Carol Bachofner has agreed to be corresponding secretary and Kathie Johnson our fund raising chair.

• District 49 house candidate found! Announcement soon about the upcoming District 49 caucus.
• KCDC Campaign Headquarters is in the old Direct TV building across the street from Subway (in the Hannaford Plaza) in Rockland. High visibility, five phone lines, staffing by Chris Appel with help from people like us!
• Haskell-Mayo Event will be held Sunday, July 13^th. Save the date!
• Annual Lobster Bake fund raiser will be held August 17th at Crockett's Beach, Owls Head. Save the date!
• Donations are needed to support our work this summer and fall. Make checks payable to Knox County Democratic Committee and mail to P.O. Box 452, Rockland, ME 04841. (Contributions are not tax-deductible.)
• Everyone loves a parade. KCDC marches as a group in Thomaston's 4th of July parade and in Rockland's Lobster Festival parade. Let's have a big turnout for both.
• Email. We're having some start-up issues wih our new email system, please bear with us. We have used the new system to mail announcements of the last three meetings.
